Compassionate Engagement - A GHGH Session

Every year the wedding industry throws an epic party.

It's at the Four Seasons and there are drinks, food, incredible themes, and talented wedding professionals showing off their services for planning couples.  But don't think that this is your average wedding "show."  The wedding pros at this event party with planning couples and services are purchased but... it is ALL for charity.  It's Get Hitched Give Hope and we are proud to be a multiple year supporter, attendee, donor, and volunteer.   While GHGH organizes, plans, and throws the party and fundraising auction, all with 100% volunteer work, those wedding services purchased directly benefit The Dream Foundation and Young Survival Coalition.  Since 2007, over half a million dollars has been raised and people getting married can know that a portion of their wedding day made a huge difference.

Janet and Curtis are one such couple that are giving back with their wedding.  We donated an engagement session to be silent auctioned off at the annual gala last October and were thrilled when these two won the bid!  We chatted with them and learned that aiming for more of a lifestyle session in their stomping grounds of downtown Ballard would be the perfect fit for their vibe.  Janet and I were emailing about outfits and what they turned up with was SO great - look at these fashion plates!!!  Also, thank you guys, for fulfilling our urge to photograph in Bastille's back bar under that gorgeous chandelier.  {And for the post shoot cocktails and hang time!}
